There are different types of courts. In some jurisdictions, Supreme Court is the most superior court. A divorce will be approved by a superior court. After the divorce has been approved, two spouses who used to leave together will go separate ways.

Adoption involves getting parental rights and responsibilities over a young child that is not biologically related to a person. The child to be adopted can be an abandoned child or even an orphaned child. Child support is normally a hot issue. During the divorce process, it has to be determined how the parents of a particular child will financially support the child. Children have financial needs. These needs include school fees, medical costs and costs of clothing among other costs.

Spousal support is not a common issue but it can at times be encountered. A spouse who did not have any employment but depended entirely on the income of his/her partner may need this kind of support. It will however have to be proven that such a spouse is not in any other relationship with a person who can cater for his/her needs.
